OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture dated October 18, 2022, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 6 of the Acts of 1996, the Meat Inspection Act , is pleased to: (

a) appoint Michael Horwich of Halifax Regional Municipality (Bedford) as a member of the Meat Inspection Board representing the public, and designating him as Chair, for a term of three (3) years commencing November 15, 2022; and (

b) determine that Michael Horwich be remunerated for his service on the Board in the amount of $100.00 per day and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in fulfilling his duties as a member and designated Chair, provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally paid to members of the civil service.
