CHAPTER

An Act to amend The Jury Act, 1981 (Assented to June 3, 1992) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title This Act may be cited as The Jury Amendment Act, 1992. S.S. 1980-81, c.J-4.1,

section amended

Section of The Jury Act, 1981 is amended: (

a) by striking out Aby registered or certified mail@ in subsection (1); and (

b) by repealing subsection (2) and substituting the following: A(2) A document served by mail is deemed to have been received on the seventh day following the day of its mailing, unless the person to whom it was addressed, through no fault of that person, did not receive the document or received it at a later date@. Coming into force This Act comes into force on the day of assent.
