Order in Council 1343/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to the prerogative of His Majesty the King in Right of Ontario to appoint persons to serve His Majesty's Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities,

The Honourable Dr. Jane Philpott

be appointed Chair, Connecting Every Ontarian to Primary Health Care Initiative , Ministry of Health, effective December 1, 2024, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding three years from the effective date of this appointment.

And further that Dr. Jane Philpott be paid, for the term of this appointment while on leave from Queen’s University, an annual salary equal to her current salary as the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences and Director of the School of Medicine at Queen’s University.
