Order in Council 1581/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Government of Ontario has by Order in Council established the position of Provincial Land and Development Facilitator;

And

whereas the Order in Council provides that the Provincial Land and Development Facilitator shall be paid such remuneration and expenses as the Lieutenant Governor in Council may determine;

Therefore pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Ontario to provide for the remuneration of persons who serve her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities,

The Provincial Land and Development Facilitator shall be paid $1000.00 for each day that he or she is engaged in the duties of Provincial Land and Development Facilitator, to a maximum of 234 days per fiscal year, effective September 1, 2017.

And further , the Provincial Land and Development Facilitator shall be reimbursed for all reasonable expenses incurred in the performance of his or her duties in accordance with the relevant directives, guidelines and policies of the Treasury Board and Management Board of Cabinet.

And further , Order in Council 426/2015 is revoked effective September 1, 2017.
