OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Education dated February 4, 2002, and pursuant to
Section 10 of
Chapter 254 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Libraries Act, is pleased to: (
a) appoint the following persons as members of the Pictou-Antigonish Regional Library Board, each for a term of office of three years commencing March 1, 2002: Conrad Poirier of Antigonish, Antigonish County; Maureen MacGillivray of Antigonish, Antigonish County; and (
b) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against Conrad Poirier and Maureen MacGillivray and indemnify them from personal liability provided that the Province is satisfied the claim arises out of their activities in relation to their appointments and is not based on fraud or criminal activity and where the Province so defends them, the Province will be in control of the case.
