OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council and the Minister of Energy dated February 9, 2005, and pursuant to

Section 69 of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, and

Section 4 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, is pleased to approve the terms of the "Arrangement between the Government of Canada and the Government of Nova Scotia on Offshore Revenues" (the "Arrangement"); assign to the President of the Executive Council and the Minister of Energy the authority of the Minister of Finance to enter the Arrangement pursuant to

Section 69 of the Provincial Finance Act, in substantially the form presented, and authorizes the signature of the Arrangement by the President of Executive Council and the Minister of Energy and its delivery to the Government of Canada.
