Order in Council 100/2022

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council 956/2019, eight positions of Special Advisor, Agent-General were established to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a term not exceeding three years,

And

whereas by Order in Council 92/2022 the appointed Special Advisor, Agent-General (Dallas) may be re-appointed for a further term not exceeding three years,

Therefore, pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Ontario to appoint advisors to serve Her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities,

Jag Badwal of Caledon, ON

be reappointed as Special Advisor, Agent-General (Dallas), reporting to the Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, to be paid a base remuneration of $164,910 (Canadian) per year effective the date this Order in Council is made and to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding three years, effective the date this Order in Council is made.

And further that Order in Council 959/2019 be revoked, effective the date this Order in Council is made.
