Loi sur les services d’ambulance 1(1)

Section 1 of the Ambulance Services Act, chap- ter A-7.3 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 1990, is amended 1(1) L’article 1 de la

Loi sur les services d’ambu- lance,

chapitre A-7.3 des Lois du Nouveau-Brunswick de 1990, est modifié (

a) by repealing the definition “ambulance” and substituting the following:

a) par l’abrogation de la définition d’« ambu- lance » et son remplacement par ce qui suit : “ambulance” means a motor vehicle designed or adapted to be used for the transportation of patients and a support vehicle, but does not include an air ambulance; (ambulance) « ambulance » désigne un véhicule à moteur conçu ou adapté pour être utilisé pour le transport des patients et un véhicule de soutien, mais ne s’entend pas d’une am- bulance aérienne; (ambulance) (

b) by repealing the definition “ambulance attend- ant” and substituting the following:

b) par l’abrogation de la définition d’« ambulan- cier » et son remplacement par ce qui suit : “ambulance attendant” means a person who attends patients while they are receiving ambulance services, and includes an ambulance driver; (ambulancier) « ambulancier » désigne une personne qui fournit des soins aux patients recevant des services d’ambulance et s’entend également du conducteur de l’ambulance; (am- bulance attendant) (

c) by repealing the definition “operate” and sub- stituting the following:

d) in the definition “regional health authority” of the English version by striking out the period at the end of the definition and substituting a semicolon;

e) by adding the following definition in alphabeti- cal order:

Section 4 of the Act is repealed. 1(2) L’article 4 de la Loi est abrogé. 1(3)

Section 22 of the Act is amended 1(3) L’article 22 de la Loi est modifié (

a) by repealing paragraph (

a) and substituting the following:

Section 3 of New Brunswick Regulation 92-126 under the Ambulance Services Act is repealed. 2(1) L’article 3 du Règlement du Nouveau- Brunswick 92-126 pris en vertu de la

Section 4 of the Regulation is repealed. 2(2) L’article 4 du Règlement est abrogé. 2(3)

Section 7 of the Regulation is amended 2(4) L’article 7 du Règlement est modifié (

a) by repealing subsection (1) and substituting the following:

a) par l’abrogation du paragraphe (1) et son rem- placement par ce qui suit : 7(1) Each time ambulance services are provided, the person who operates the ambulance shall record the services on a form approved by the Minister. 7(1) Chaque fois que des services d’ambulance sont fournis, l’exploitant d’une ambulance le consigne dans la formule qu’approuve le Ministre. b) in subsection (2) by striking out “the patient is transported” and substituting “ambulance services are provided to the patient”.

2(5) Subsection 8(3) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “a person requiring transportation by an ambulance” and substituting “a person who receives ambulance services”. 2(5) Le paragraphe 8(3) du Règlement est modifié par la suppression de « une personne ayant requis le transport par ambulance » et son remplacement par « une personne ayant reçu des services d’ambulance ». 2(6)

Section 8.1 of the Regulation is amended in the portion preceding paragraph (

a) by striking out “where the person transported” and substituting “and who”. 2(6) L’article 8.1 du Règlement est modifié, au pas- sage qui précède l’alinéa a ), par la suppression de « alors que la personne transportée » et son remplace- ment par « et qui ». 2(7)

Section 8.2 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “where the person transported” and substi- tuting “and who”. 2(7) L’article 8.2 du Règlement est modifié par la suppression de « alors que la personne transportée » et son remplacement par « et qui ».
