Order in Council 617/2026

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Helping Homebuyers, Protecting Tenants Act, 2023

July 1, 2026 is named as the day on which the following provisions of the Helping Homebuyers, Protecting Tenants Act, 2023 , c. 10, which amend the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 , come into force:

Schedule 7, s. 1, 6, 8-10.

September 21, 2026 is named as the day on which the following provisions of the Helping Homebuyers, Protecting Tenants Act, 2023 , c. 10, which amend the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 , come into force:

Schedule 7, s. 3, 5.
