OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Accessibility Act dated January 16, 2018, and pursuant to

Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2017, the Accessibility Act , is pleased to: (

a) appoint Alexander Peeler of Conquerall Bank, Lunenburg County, Amy Parsons of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax), Anne Sinclair of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax), Barry Abbott of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax), Cynthia Bruce of Kentville, Kings County, David Caswell of Halifax Regional Municipality (Waverley), Irene Campbell-Taylor of Mahone Bay, Lunenburg County, Kevin Russell of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax), Marcellina Shwery-Stanley of Cape Breton Regional Municipality (Sydney), and Warren Reed of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as members of the Accessibility Advisory Board each for a term of three years; (

b) determine that the remuneration of Alexander Peeler, Amy Parsons, Anne Sinclair, Barry Abbott, Cynthia Bruce, David Caswell, Irene Campbell-Taylor, Kevin Russell, Marcellina Shwery-Stanley, and Warren Reed shall be at the rate of $100.00 per meeting of the Board; (

c) appoint Douglas Foster of Cape Breton Regional Municipality (Sydney River) as a member and designate him as Chair of the Accessibility Advisory Board for a term of three years; (

d) determine that the remuneration of Douglas Foster shall be at the rate of $200.00 per meeting of the Board; (

e) appoint Rosalind Penfound of Halifax Regional Municipality (Dartmouth) as a member and designate her as Vice-Chair of the Accessibility Advisory Board for a term of three years; (

f) determine that the remuneration of Rosalind Penfound shall be at the rate of $150.00 per meeting of the Board; and (

g) determine that all aforementioned appointees shall be paid actual and reasonable travel and other expenses as may be incurred by them in the performance of their duties, payable in accordance with the travel policies and guidelines of the Province of Nova Scotia applicable to civil servants.
