OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated December 18, 2024, and pursuant to Sections 6 and 9 of

Chapter 14 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Victims' Rights and Services Act , is pleased to authorize the expenditure in the total amount not to exceed two million two hundred thousand dollars ($2,200,000.00) from the Victims' Assistance Fund for the payment of Victim Services employee salaries and benefits with the Department of Justice for the period from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026, effective on and after January 21, 2025.
