OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture dated July 29, 2025, and pursuant to

Section 25 of

Chapter 25 of the Acts of 1996, the Fisheries and Coastal Resources Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint Damien Barry of Cape Breton Regional Municipality as a director of the Nova Scotia Fisheries and Aquaculture Loan Board for a term of four years commencing September 4, 2025; (

b) reappoint Paula McQuinn of Yarmouth County as a director of the Nova Scotia Fisheries and Aquaculture Loan Board for a term of three years commencing September 4, 2025; (

c) reappoint Robert Verge of Halifax Regional Municipality as a director, and designate Robert Verge as Vice-chair of the Nova Scotia Fisheries and Aquaculture Loan Board, for a term of four years commencing September 4, 2025; and (

d) determine that Damien Barry, Paula McQuinn and Robert Verge be remunerated for services as directors in the amount of $100 per day and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in fulfilling the duties as directors provided any such reimbursement does not exceed that normally payable to members of the civil service.
