CRAWFORD: Mr. Speaker, I've had the opportu nity of briefly discussing with members of the opposition that because the published

schedule of the committee went to 6:20 on each day and the committee can't proper ly sit beyond six o'clock because of the resolution of the committee, it would be just as well, and would accommo date the group that was just here to the full extent of their additional five or so minutes, if we just dealt with the possible overrun on all four days of the hearings now.

For that reason, I want to propose that the Assembly now adjourn until p.m. on Thursday, April 28, in accordance with Motion No. 13, passed by the Assembly on April 12, 1983, and be it resolved that notwithstanding Motion 13, the Standing Committee of the Assembly on Public Affairs be entitled to conduct hearings on April 25, 26, 27, and 28, 1983, from 2:30 p.m. to p.m., and that the standing committee reconvene forthwith. [Motion carried] [Mr. Speaker left the Chair at 5:30 p.m.]
