OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal, dated December 11, 2019, and pursuant to

Section 21 of

Chapter 371 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Highways Act is pleased to designate as a controlled access highway the following sections of highway in the County of Digby; (

a) a new

section of Highway 101, beginning at the intersection of the centerline of the existing Highway 101 and the centerline of Highway 303, then travelling in a westerly direction a distance of approximately 4.3 km, to the intersection of the centerlines of the new Highway 101 and the centerline of Middle Cross Road; (

b) all new and existing Highway 101 access ramps at Exit 26; (

c) the new roundabout at the Exit 26 interchange eastbound ramp terminal; (

d) Route 303, from a distance of 100 m north of the Exit 26 interchange westbound ramp terminal to the roundabout as described in (

c) above; (

e) the first 100 m of Acacia Valley Road, beginning at the roundabout described in (c), and extending in a southeasterly direction; and (

f) two sections of the Existing Highway 101, the first 100 m of the Existing Highway 101, beginning at the roundabout described in (c), and extending in a westerly direction and the first 100 m of the Existing Highway 101, beginning at the intersection of the centreline of the Existing Highway 101 and the centreline of the New Highway 101, and proceeding in an easterly direction, all as shown on

Schedule “A”, attached to and forming part of this Report and Recommendation.
