B.C. Reg. 64/2012 , deposited March 30, 2012, pursuant to the FORESTRY SERVICE PROVIDERS PROTECTION ACT [sections 32 and 35]. Order in Council 205/2012, approved and ordered March 29, 2012.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective March 30, 2012,

(

a) sections 25, 26, 27 (5) (a), 29 (1) (b), 31, 32, 33, 34, 35 (1) and (3) (e), (

j) and (

k) of the Forestry Service Providers Protection Act, S.B.C. 2010, c. 16, are brought into force,

(

b) approval is given to the minister responsible for the administration of the Forestry Service Providers Protection Act to enter into an administrative agreement substantially in the form of the attached agreement, and

(

c) the attached Forestry Service Providers Compensation Fund Regulation is made.

FORESTRY SERVICE PROVIDERS COMPENSATION FUND REGULATION

Definition

1 In this regulation, "Act" means the Forestry Service Providers Protection Act .

Fund established

2 For the purposes set out in

section 26 (1) of the Act, the Forestry Service Providers Compensation Fund is established with an initial balance of $5 million, as provided by the government.
