Chapter M-13.1 of the Revised Statutes of Alberta 1980. 2 Section 45(1) presently reads: 45(1) The Lieutenant Governor in Council shall appoint a Mental Health Patient Advocate, who shall investigate complaints from or relating to formal patients and exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as are prescribed in the regulations.
