OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Environment and Climate Change dated December 4, 2024, and pursuant to

Section 19 of

Chapter 1 of the Acts of 1994-95, the Environment Act , is pleased to approve the Minister of Environment and Climate Change entering into a renewed Equivalency Agreement with the Government of Canada respecting the regulation of greenhouse gas emissions from the electricity sector, substantially in the form set forth in

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, subject only to such variations as do not materially change the nature of the Agreement, effective on and after December 11, 2024.
