OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness dated July 27, 2011, and pursuant to Clauses 13(1)(

a) and (

c) of

Chapter 197 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Health Services and Insurance Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Health and Wellness to, effective on and after August 30, 2011: (

a) continue the Academic Funding Plan ("AFP") arrangements based on the expired AFPs with the QEII Department of Family Medicine, QEII and IWK Division of Neurosurgery, QEII Department of Anaesthesiology, IWK Department of Anaesthesiology - Women's and Obstetrics Division, IWK Department of Paediatric Anaesthesiology and Critical Care, and QEII Critical Care; (

b) continue making payment at the rate in effect as of March 31, 2010, to the QEII and IWK Division of Neurosurgery and the QEII Critical Care, pursuant to the terms set out in the expired AFPs; and (

c) increase the funding in effect as of March 31, 2010, by 1 % for QEII Department of Family Medicine, QEII Department of Anaesthesiology, IWK Department of Anaesthesiology - Women's and Obstetrics Division, and IWK Department of Paediatric Anaesthesiology and Critical Care.
