OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated June 2, 2010, and pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act,

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act,

Section 2 of

Chapter 377 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Superannuation Act,

Section 10 of

Chapter 70 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act, and all authority in him vested, is pleased to, effective June 12, 2010: (

a) appoint Kim MacNeil as Acting Deputy Minister of Environment; (

b) designate Kim MacNeil as a deputy head within the meaning of the Civil Service Act; (

c) fix and determine the salary of Kim MacNeil to be at such rate as may be determined by the Deputy Minister of the Office of the Premier; (

d) direct that Kim MacNeil shall receive all customary benefits associated with the position of deputy head including participation in the Province of Nova Scotia Long Term Disability Plan; and (

e) designate Kim MacNeil to be and to have been an employee for the purposes of the Public Service Superannuation Act.
