Harbour Breton Municipal Planning Area

under the

Urban and Rural Planning Act

(O.C. 96-173)

Under the authority of

section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act

and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act

, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council defines the following area as the Harbour Breton Municipal Planning Area.

AREA

Beginning at a point at the highwater mark at the most southern ex tremity

of Connaigre Head in

Fortune

Bay

Then following the sinuosities of the eastern shore of Connaigre Bay in a generally northerly direction through Crow Head, Sam Head, Uncle Bob Cove, Great Harbour Bight and Great Harbour to a point at the highwater mark on the most western extremity of South Hay Point;

Then south 81 east 3,500 metres, more or less, to a point at the highwater mark on the western shore of Northeast Arm;

Then following the shoreline in a generally southerly direction through Poole Cove, Southwest Arm and along the northeast side of the causeway over Southwest Arm;

Then in a generally northerly, southerly and westerly direction, through Thompson Beach, Western Head, Woody Head, Black Island Cove and Oxford Point, to the point of beginning.
