OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Environment and Labour dated November 16, 2004, pursuant to

Section 18 of the General Blasting Regulations made under

Section 82 of

Chapter 7 of the Acts of 1996, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, is pleased to: (

a) reappoint Kevin Beaton of Port Hastings, Inverness County, as a member and designate him as Chair of the Board of Examiners for the Certification of Blasters for a term of office of three years commencing January 1, 2005; (

b) fix the remuneration for Kevin Beaton at $2,000 per annum in addition to $100 for each day he necessarily attends as member and Chair of the Board of Examiners for the Certification of Blasters, to the business of the Board, in addition to reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by him in the discharge of his duties; (

c) reappoint David Clarke of Truro, Colchester County, as a member of the Board of Examiners for the Certification of Blasters for a term of office of three years commencing January 1, 2005; and (

d) fix the remuneration for David Clarke at the rate of $100 for each day he necessarily attends as a member of the Board of Examiners for the Certification of Blasters, to the business of the Board, in addition to reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by him in the discharge of his duties.
