I, Doug Donaldson, Minister of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development, order that

(

a) the Closed Areas Regulation, B.C. Reg. 76/84, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 1, and

(

b) the Hunting Regulation, B.C. Reg. 190/84, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 2.

Appendix 1

Section 37 of

Schedule 3 of the Closed Areas Regulation, B.C. Reg. 76/84, is repealed and the following substituted:

Line Creek Operations

37 That portion of M.U. 4-23 in the vicinity of Sparwood outlined in red on the attached Map No. 3-37/18.

Section 59 of

Schedule 3 is amended by striking out “ 3-1/15 ” and substituting “ 3-59/18 ”.

Schedule 3 is amended by adding the following sections:

Elkview Operations

61 That portion of M.U. 4-23 in the vicinity of Sparwood outlined in red on the attached Map No. 3-61/18.

Coal Mountain Operations

62 That portion of M.U. 4-23 in the vicinity of Sparwood outlined in red on the attached Map No. 3-62/18.

Schedule 5 is amended

(

a) by repealing

section 25,

(

b) by repealing

section 41 and substituting the following:

Line Creek Operations

41 That portion of M.U. 4-23 in the vicinity of Sparwood outlined in red on the attached Map No. 5-41/18. ,

(

c) in

section 57 by striking out “ 5-1/14 ” and substituting “ 5-57/18 ”,

(

d) by repealing

section 77 and substituting the following:

Coal Mountain Operations

77 That portion of M.U. 4-23 in the vicinity of Sparwood outlined in red on the attached Map No. 5-77/18. , and

(

e) by repealing sections 131 and

Section 51 of

Schedule 7 is repealed.

Schedule 15 is amended

(

a) by adding the following maps:

Map No. 5-77/18 ,

(

b) by repealing the map “ Map No. 5-1/14 ” and substituting the map “ Map No. 5-57/18 ”, and

(

c) by repealing the following map:

Map No. 7-1/14 .

Appendix 2

Section 1 of

Part 2 of

Schedule 1 of the Hunting Regulation, B.C. Reg. 190/84, is amended by adding the following subsection:

(17) On that portion of M.U. 1-1 known as Valdes Island, the open season for antlerless mule (black-tailed) deer is November 1 to November 10.

Part 1 of

Schedule 4 is amended by repealing item 21 and substituting the following as indicated:
