OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated November 12, 2013, and pursuant to

Section 4 of

Chapter 155 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Executive Council Act , is pleased, effective November 19, 2013, to: (

a) revoke Order in Council 2013-165 dated May 21, 2013; and (

b) whenever any one of the members of the Executive Council listed in Column I of

Schedule “A” attached, is absent from the Province or is unable for any reason to perform the duties of his/her office to: (

i) appoint the first-named member of the Executive Council shown opposite the respective Minister’s name in Column II of

Schedule ‘A” as Acting Minister in the Minister’s stead; and (ii) in the event that the first-named member of the Executive Council listed in Column II is unavailable to act, to appoint the second-named member of the Executive Council shown opposite the respective Minister’s name in Column II of

Schedule ‘A” as Acting Minister in the Minister’s stead.
