Order in Council 1728/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsections 70(2) and 71(1) of the Health Care Consent Act, 1996 , Rekha Lakra of Toronto be appointed as a part-time Lawyer member and designated as a part-time Vice-Chair of the Consent and Capacity Board for a fixed term of two years, effective the date this Order in Council is made.

Furthermore , pursuant to subsection 70(2) of the Health Care Consent Act, 1996 , Orders in Council numbered O.C. 1915/2019 dated December 12, 2019 and O.C. 1387/2024 dated October 24, 2024 be revoked effective the date this Order in Council is made.
