OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Environment dated July 25, 2008 and pursuant to Sections 151, 152 and 153 of

Chapter 10 of the Acts of 1994-95, the Workers' Compensation Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint John Gallinger of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as an employer member of the Board of Directors of the Workers' Compensation Board for a term of four (4) years commencing August 27, 2008; (

b) fix the remuneration for John Gallinger at $300 per day for attendance at meetings of the Board of Directors of the Workers' Compensation Board, for attendance at committee meetings and meeting preparation days in addition to reimbursement for reasonable travelling and other expenses incurred in connection with the work of the Board; and (

c) in addition to the above-noted remuneration, if John Gallinger chairs a committee of the Board of Directors, he shall receive an annual honorarium of $2,000 for each committee he chairs.
