OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables dated October 21, 2024, and pursuant to clauses 16(1)(

a) and (

b) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act , is pleased to approve the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables: (

a) granting an easement to Port Hawkesbury Paper Wind Ltd. or its successors, trustees, or permitted assigns, for the purpose of constructing, installing, upgrading, using and maintaining access roads and collector power lines (overhead and underground medium voltage power collection system) for wind energy development on Crown lands currently identified as portions of PIDs 35050491, 35127224, 35203595, 35203603, 35203611, 35203629, and 35203637 and shown as a bold line on the plan marked

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of this Report and Recommendation; (

b) issuing a lease for the purpose of wind energy development to Port Hawkesbury Paper Wind Ltd. or its successors, trustees, or permitted assigns for Crown lands (currently identified as portions of PIDs 35050491 and 35203637) containing approximately 126.29 hectares (312.06 acres), as shown outlined in bold on the plan marked

Schedule “B” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; and (

c) executing such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
