OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness dated February 28, 2019, and pursuant to Sections 8 and 13(1)(

c) of

Chapter 197 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Health Services and Insurance Act , is pleased to approve the Minister of Health and Wellness entering into an agreement with the Nova Scotia Association of Optometrists to amend the Agreement referred to in Order in Council 2017-329, in order to extend that Agreement until:

a) the parties have agreed to a new optometric agreement; or

b) the Agreement is terminated by any party giving at least three (3) months prior notice in writing.
