OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Business dated December 10, 2020, and pursuant to Sections 8 and 12 of
Chapter 8 of the Acts of 2014, the Halifax Convention Centre Act , is pleased to: (
a) appoint Catherine Forbes of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as member of the Board of Directors of the Halifax Convention Centre for a term of four (4) years, commencing January 28, 2021; and (
b) determine that she will be remunerated for her service as a member of the Board in the amount of $150 per day, and will be reimbursed for reasonable expenses actually incurred in fulfilling her duties, provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally payable to members of the civil service.
