OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Heritage Property Act dated June 12, 2004, and pursuant to

Section 4 of

Chapter 199 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Heritage Property Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint Gordon Harmer of Guysborough, Guysborough County, as a member of the Advisory Council on Heritage Property for a term of office of three years, commencing June 30, 2004; (

b) determine that the remuneration of a member appointed to the Advisory Council on Heritage Property be $75.00 per meeting plus reasonable expenses; (

c) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against Gordon Harmer of Guysborough, Guysborough County, and indemnify him from personal liability, provided that the Province is satisfied the claim arises out of his activity in relation to his appointment and is not based on fraud or criminal activity and where the Province so defends him, the Province will be in control of the case.
