OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the administration of the Advisory Council on the Status of Women Act dated March 24, 1999, pursuant to

Section 3 of

Chapter 3 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Advisory Council on the Status of Women Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint the following persons as members of the Advisory Council on the Status of Women for a term of office of three years commencing May 1, 1999: Patricia LeBlanc of Sydney, Cape Breton Regional Municipality; Shirley E. Jackson of R.R.#2 Bridgetown, Annapolis County; Mary A. Sampson of R.R.#1 Bras D'Or, Victoria County; and (

b) appoint the following persons as members of the Advisory Council on the Status of Women Act for a term of office of two years commencing May 1, 1999: Sharon Sobol of Sydney, Cape Breton Regional Municipality; Rita Warner of R.R.#1 Judique, Inverness County; Sonja Power of Amherst, Cumberland County; and Karen J. Field of Bridgewater, Lunenburg County.
