Interpretation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture dated September 5, 2018, and pursuant to

Section 5 of

Chapter 13 of the Acts of 2001, the Veterinary Medical Act , and pursuant to clause 18(1)(

d) of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act , is pleased to: (

a) appoint Heather Rix of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as a member of the Nova Scotia Veterinary Medical Association Council for a term of two years commencing September 28, 2018; and (

b) determine that Heather Rix be remunerated for her service in the amount of $100.00 per day and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in fulfilling her duties as a member, provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally paid to members of the civil service.
