Statute: Prescription Monitoring Act Civil Service Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated May 31, 2005, and pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 32 of the Acts of 2004, the Prescription Monitoring Act, and

Section 44A of

Chapter 70 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint the following persons as members of the Nova Scotia Prescription Monitoring Board for a three year term commencing on the date of the coming into force of the Prescription Monitoring Act: \x09 (

i) Ruth Shea of Sydney, Cape Breton Regional Municipality, pursuant to subclause 7(4)(a)(ii); \x09 (ii) Patrick King of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality, pursuant to subclause 7(4)(b)(ii); and \x09 (iii) Brian Wilbur of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, and Marina Keeping of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, pursuant to subclause 7(1)(f); (

b) appoint the following persons as members of the Nova Scotia Prescription Monitoring Board for a two year term commencing on the date of the coming into force of the Prescription Monitoring Act: \x09 (

i) Dr. Marco Chiarot of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, and Dr. Rodney Wilson of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, pursuant to subclause 7(4)(a)(i); and \x09 (ii) J. Ronald Surette of Yarmouth, Yarmouth County, pursuant to subclause 7(4)(b)(i).
