t) and (v)]. Order in Council 353/2014, approved and ordered May 30, 2014.
On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Administrator, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the Adoption Regulation, B.C. Reg. 291/96, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix.

Appendix
Section 1 of the Adoption Regulation, B.C. Reg. 291/96, is amended in paragraph (
b) of the definition of “aboriginal agency” by striking out “ under
section 92 of the Child, Family and Community Service Act ; ” and substituting “ of child protection; ”.
Section 4 is amended by adding the following subsection:
(1.1) For the purpose of placing a child for adoption under
section 4 (2) of the Act, a director is not required to obtain the information described in subsection (1) (
d) of this section.
Section 9 is amended
(
a) in subsection (1)
(
i) in paragraph (
a) by striking out “ the Parent or Guardian’s Consent to Adoption, ” and substituting “ the Consent to Adoption by Parent or Guardian, ”,
(ii) in paragraph (
b) by striking out “ Child Over Twelve, ” and substituting “ Child Twelve or Over, ”, and
(iii) by adding the following paragraph:
(
c) the Consent to Adoption by Director of Child Protection, in Form 3.1 of
Schedule 3. , and
(
b) by repealing subsection (3) and substituting the following:
(3) Subsection (2) does not apply if
(
a) the consent is given by a director of child protection, and
(
b) the child is in the continuing custody of the director of child protection or the director of child protection is the child’s personal guardian under
section 51 of the Infants Act .
4 Sections 10.1 (1) (
a) and (
c) and 17 (2) are amended by striking out “ director under the Child, Family and Community Service Act ” and substituting “ director of child protection ”.
5 Sections 20 (
a) and 21, in both places, are amended by striking out “ Chief Executive Officer of Vital Statistics ” and substituting “ registrar general ”.
Section 26 (
b) is amended
(
a) in subparagraph (
i) by striking out “ director under the Child, Family and Community Service Act , ” and substituting “ director of child protection, ”, and
(
b) by repealing subparagraph (iii) and substituting the following:
(iii) under the personal guardianship of a director of child protection under
section 51 of the Infants Act , or .
Section 28 (6) is amended by striking out “ to a child in the care, custody or guardianship of a director under the Child, Family and Community Service Act . ” and substituting “ under the Child, Family and Community Service Act to a child in the care, custody or guardianship of a director of child protection. ”
Schedule 3 is amended by repealing Forms 2 and 3 and substituting the following:
