Order in Council 540/2017

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Ruth Goba was reappointed a part-time member of the Ontario Human Rights Commission for a term of two years, effective January 1, 2016, by Order in Council O.C. 1824/2015;

And

whereas Ruth Goba was appointed a part-time member of the Human Rights Legal Support Centre for the Province of Ontario for a term ending December 31, 2017, by Order in Council O.C. 252/2016;

And

whereas Ruth Goba tendered her resignation effective February 3, 2017;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 77(

a) of the Legislation Act, 2006 and subsections 27(2) and 45.14(2) of the Human Rights Code , Orders in Council O.C. 1824/2015 and 252/2016 be revoked effective February 3, 2017.
