Order in Council 719/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas under subsection 57 (1) of the Education Act , R.S.O. 1990, c. E.2, as amended, the Lieutenant Governor in Council must establish one or more Special Education Tribunals;

Further , Order in Council numbered O.C. 1382/97 is hereby revoked;

Further, this Order in Council shall be effective on the day that

section 11 of

Schedule 2 of the Better Schools and Student Outcomes Act , 2023, S.O. 2023, c. 11 is proclaimed into force to re-enact subsection 57 (1) of the French version of the Education Act .
