Statute: Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal dated September l6, 2014, and pursuant to

Section 11 of

Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act, is pleased to: (

a) authorize the disposal of surplus lands containing an area of 20.06 acres, more or less, situate at or near Fort Lawrence, in the County of Cumberland and more particularly described in

Schedule "A" and shown outlined in bold on the plan in

Schedule "B", which Schedules are attached to and form part of the Report and Recommendation; (

b) authorize the conveyance of the parcel of surplus land to the Municipality of the County of Cumberland, a municipal body corporate, having its registered office at Amherst, County of Cumberland, for the 2005 market value of $5,500.00 and $825.00 for applicable tax, and; (

c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to make an execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines to affect the conveyance of the lands herein above described.
