Interpretation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Growth and Development dated May 15, 2025, and pursuant to

Section 4 of

Chapter 339 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Peggy’s Cove Commission Act , and

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act , hereby: (

a) revokes the designation of Maria Bartholomew of Halifax Regional Municipality as Vice-chair of the Peggy’s Cove Commission, made by Order in Council 2022-288 dated November 29, 2022, effective June 3, 2025; and (

b) designates Jane Fraser of Halifax Regional Municipality as Vice-chair of the Peggy’s Cove Commission for a term commencing June 3, 2025, and expiring when Jane Fraser ceases to be the representative of the Department of Growth and Development on the Peggy’s Cove Commission.
