OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations dated September 18, 2007, and pursuant to

Section 28 of

Chapter 62 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Cemetery and Funeral Services Act, is pleased to amend the regulations respecting cemetery and funeral services, N.S. Reg. 16/84, made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 84-156 dated February 7, 1984, to reduce the risk of financial loss for consumers who have purchased pre-arranged funeral plans and pre-need cemetery plans, in the manner set forth in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, effective on and after February 11, 2008.
