Order in Council 580/2015, approved and ordered October 2, 2015.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that regulations are amended as set out in the attached Schedule.

Schedule

Audit and Audit Committee Regulation

Section 2 of the Audit and Audit Committee Regulation, B.C. Reg. 314/90, is amended by striking out “ Handbook of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants ” and substituting “ CPA Canada Handbooks ”.

Business Corporations Regulation

Section 1 of the Business Corporations Regulation, B.C. Reg. 65/2004, is amended in the definition of “generally accepted accounting principles” by striking out “ Handbook of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants ” and substituting “ CPA Canada Handbooks ” .

Credit Union Extraprovincial Business of Subsidiaries Regulation

Section 1 of the Credit Union Extraprovincial Business of Subsidiaries Regulation, B.C. Reg. 310/90, is amended in the definition of “financial leasing” by striking out “ Handbook of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, ” and substituting “ CPA Canada Handbooks, ”.

Prescribed Types of Businesses Regulation

Section 1 of the Prescribed Types of Businesses Regulation, B.C. Reg. 575/2004, is amended in the definition of “financial leasing” by striking out “ Handbook of The Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, ” and substituting “ CPA Canada Handbooks, ”.

Real Estate Services Regulation

Section 2.7 of the Real Estate Services Regulation, B.C. Reg. 506/2004, is amended by striking out “ under the Accountants (Certified General) Act , the Accountants (Chartered) Act or the Accountants (Management) Act ” and substituting “ under the Chartered Professional Accountants Act ”.
