OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Active Transit dated April 26, 2021, and pursuant to
Section 18 of
Chapter 371 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Highways Act and pursuant to
Section 11 of
Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act , is pleased to: (
a) extinguish the right of the public to use that portion of the public highway, identified as Parcel A, containing an area of 1,355 square feet, more or less, located at or near Port Royal, Richmond County, more particularly described in
Schedule “A” and shown on
Schedule “B” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; (
b) authorize the conveyance of Parcel A to Gladys L. Boudreau of Port Royal, Richmond County for the consideration of $298.10, plus $44.72 HST for a total purchase price of $342.82; (
c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Active Transit to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines to effect the conveyance of the land; and (
d) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Active Transit to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purpose of this Order.
