OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated March 25, 2010, and pursuant to
Section 16 of
Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to: (
a) approve the issuance of a lease by the Minister of Natural Resources for a parcel of Crown land containing 40 hectares, more or less, the exact location and acreage to be determined by survey, situate at Glenmore, Halifax County, and shown outlined in bold on the plan marked
Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, to Glenmore Industries Limited, a body corporate with registered office at Cloverdale, Colchester County, its successors, trustees, and permitted assigns, for the purpose of developing and maintaining an operation for the collection and processing of maple syrup products, and for no other purpose, for a term of ten (10) years at the annual rent to be calculated at 3% of the appraised market value or 5% of gross sales of agricultural production, whichever is greater, with the right to renew the lease for a further ten (10) year term at a rent and administration fee to be fixed by the Lessor, provided that the Lessee has satisfactorily complied with the terms and conditions of the lease; and (
b) authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this order.
