OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Gaming Control Act dated April 20, 2007 and pursuant to subsections 12(1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), 13(1) and 15(1) of

Chapter 4 of the Acts of 1994-1995, the Gaming Control Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint John Khattar as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation effective May 30, 2007, for a term ending February 15, 2008; (

b) determine remuneration for the Chair of the Board of Directors to be $400.00 per day; (

c) appoint the following persons as members of the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation, each for a five year term effective May 30, 2007: Merlin A. Fownes of Hammonds Plains, Halifax Regional Municipality; and Gordon D. Gillis of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality; (

d) determine remuneration for members of the Board of Directors to be $250.00 per day.
