CHAPTER

An Act to amend The Saskatchewan Loans Act (Assented to April 29, 1980) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title This Act may be cited as The Saskatchewan Loans Amendment Act, 1980. Rev. Stat. c. S-28 The Saskatchewan Loans Act is amended in the manner set forth in this Act.

Section amended The following clause is added after clause 3(1)(d): “(

e) for ordinary expenditures by way of temporary loans, where it appears to the Minister of Finance that the consolidated fund will be insufficient to meet the disbursements authorized to be made from it, in any amounts that the minister considers necessary, but at no time shall the principal amount outstanding exceed $250,000,000 in the aggregate”.

Section amended Clause 4(

c) is amended by adding after “ treasury bills” in the first line “or promissory notes”.

Section amended

Section is amended by adding after “treasury bills”: (

a) in the fourth line; (

b) in the first line of clause (a); and (

c) in the first line of clause (b); “or promissory notes”.

Section amended
