OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Environment and Labour dated July 3, 2002, pursuant to
Section 65 of
Chapter 4 of the Acts of 1994-95, the Gaming Control Act, is pleased to: (
a) approve the delegation of film classification duties in the form of an Order in the manner set forth in
Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; and (
b) amend Order in Council 2002-263 by deleting in paragraph 1 of
Schedule "A" "March 31, 2003" and substituting "July 30, 2004". (TEXT OF
SCHEDULE "A" 1.\x09The Minister of Environment and Labour hereby delegates the power to classify films in accordance with
section 5 of
Chapter 466 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Theatres and Amusements Act, to the following persons for a term effective July 30, 2002 and ending on the earlier of July 30, 2004, or the date of proclamation of Sections 98 to 101 and Sections 25 to 53 of the Justice and Administration Reform
(2000) Act. James Eisenhauer of Lahave, Lunenburg County, Claudia R. Clarke, of Trenton, Pictou County, Jean Currie of Dartmouth, HRM, Aileen M. Heisler of Chester, Lunenburg County, James E. MacArthur of Stellarton, Pictou County, Mary MacLeod of Dartmouth, HRM Alf F. Nielsen of Lake Echo, HRM Harold S. Sanford of Halifax, HRM, 2. The Executive Director of the Alcohol and Gaming Authority has supervision and direction of the work of the persons listed in paragraph 1.)
