OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Environment dated May 22, 2008, and pursuant to

Section 19 of

Chapter 1 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1994-95, the Environment Act, and

Section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the Public Service Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Environment on behalf of the Province of Nova Scotia to enter into (

a) the Memorandum of Understanding on Environmental Cooperation in Atlantic Canada (MOU), substantially in the form set forth in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, and subject only to such variations that do not materially change the nature of the MOU, and (

b) such additional annex agreements that are made subsequent to the MOU as are necessary to implement the MOU.
