OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated December 9, 1999, pursuant to subsections 238(1), (2), (3), (4), (5) and (6) and 239(1) and (2) and

Section 244 of

Chapter 10 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1994-95, the Workers' Compensation Act, is pleased to: (

a) reappoint John A. Greer of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, and Andrea L. Smillie of Lunenburg, Lunenburg County, as full-time Appeal Commissioners of the Workers' Compensation Appeals Tribunal, each for a term of office of three (3) years effective December 23, 1999; (

b) continue to fix the remuneration of John A. Greer and Andrea L. Smillie as full-time Appeal Commissioners in accordance with the salary range equivalent to the Civil Service Management Compensation Pay Plan (MCP 20) in the range of $45,855.16 to $59,611.50, subject to all applicable enactments; and (

c) order that Civil Service benefits be extended to John A. Greer and Andrea L. Smillie on the same terms and conditions as are extended to members of the Civil Service.
