I, Steve Thomson, Minister of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations, order that

(

a) the Closed Areas Regulation, B.C. Reg. 76/84, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 1,

(

b) the Hunting Regulation, B.C. Reg. 190/84, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 2, and

(

c) the Wildlife Act Commercial Activities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 338/82, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 3.

Appendix 1

Section 98 of

Schedule 5 of the Closed Areas Regulation, B.C.

Reg. 76/84, is amended by striking out “ thence southwesterly a distance of 0.4 km to the midline of Bell Road; thence southwesterly a distance of 0.4 km; ” and substituting “ thence southwesterly a distance of 0.2 km; thence southeasterly, northeasterly and southeasterly along a line parallel to Bell Road to the Texada Forest Service Road 5829, Branch 04; thence southwesterly along the midline of the Texada Forest Service Road 5829, Branch 04, to the junction of the Texada Forest Service Road 5829, Branch 04, and Bell Road; thence southeasterly along the midline of Bell Road to a point 0.1 km southwest of the gas pipeline; thence westerly and northwesterly along a line parallel to the gas pipeline to a point 0.4 km southeast of Bell Road; ”.

Appendix 2

Section 16 (5) (

a) of the Hunting Regulation, B.C. Reg. 190/84, is amended by striking out “ subsection (1) or (3), ” and substituting “ subsection (1), (2.1), (3), (3.1) or (3.3), ” and by striking out “ subsection (1), (2.1), (3) or (3.1). ” and substituting “ subsection (1), (2.1), (3), (3.1) or (3.3). ”.

2 The table in

Part 1 of

Schedule 4 is amended

(

a) by repealing items 12 and 13.01, and

(

b) in item 13 by striking out “ Zone X of 4-26 as shown on map ‘2012/2013 Elk Zone X of 4-26’, ”.

Section 2.1 (2) of

Part 2 of

Schedule 4 is amended by repealing paragraphs (

a) and (c).

Appendix 3

Section 3.04 (1) of the Wildlife Act Commercial Activities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 338/82, is amended

(

a) in paragraph (

f) by striking out “ weasel, ”, and

(

b) by striking out “ or ” at the end of paragraph (

w) and by adding the following paragraphs:

(

y) traps an otter by means of a killing trap except for a killing trap

(

i) described in Column 3 of

Schedule 3.04, and

(ii) for trapping otter as listed in Column 1 of

Schedule 3.04, or

(

z) traps a weasel except by means of a live box trap, killing snare or killing trap, or by means of a trap

(

i) described in Column 3 of

Schedule 3.04, and

(ii) for trapping weasel as listed in Column 1 of

Schedule 3.04.

Schedule 3.04 of

section 3.04 is amended

(

a) in Column 3 of item 5 by adding “ Bélisle Super X 110 ” and “ Ouell RM ”, and

(

b) by adding the following items as indicated:
