On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that sections 2 (

d) and (i), 94, 98, 105, 107, 114, 116, 118, 138, 236, 237, 238 and 246 of the Local Government Statutes Amendment Act ,

2000, S.B.C. 2000, c. 7, come into force January 1, 2003. — G. ABBOTT, Minister of Community, Aboriginal and Women's Services; G. CAMPBELL, Presiding Member of the Executive Council .
