OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated May 13, 2011, and pursuant to

Section 84 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act,

Section 2 of

Chapter 377 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Superannuation Act,

Section 10 of

Chapter 70 of the Revised Statues of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act, and all authority in him vested, is pleased to, effective May 20, 2011: (

a) appoint Greg Roach as Associate Deputy Minister of Agriculture; (

b) designate Greg Roach as a deputy head within the meaning of the Civil Service Act in his performance of the duties of deputy as have been or may be delegated to him pursuant to

Section 84 of the Public Service Act; (

c) fix and determine the salary of Greg Roach to be at such rate as may be determined by the Deputy Minister of the Office of the Premier; (

d) direct that Greg Roach shall receive all customary benefits associated with the position of deputy head including participation in the Province of Nova Scotia Long Term Disability Plan; and (

e) designate Greg Roach to be and to have been an employee for the purposes of the Public Service Superannuation Act.
