OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Seniors and Long Term Care dated April 25, 2025, and pursuant to

Section 19 of

Chapter 203 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Homes for Special Care Act , is pleased to amend the Homes for Special Care Regulations , N.S. Reg. 127/1977, made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 77-1261 dated October 11, 1977, to enable nurse practitioners to act as medical health advisors and extend to nurse practitioners matters previously reserved for physicians, in the manner set forth in

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, effective on and after May 20, 2025.
